• I will be telling you about our Christmas display as we go along.  This is currently what we are working on for the 2006 season.

                       

  • 1- Mega Tree. This tree will be 19 feet tall.  It will have 108 strands of 100 bulb lights.  This is a total of 10,800 mini lights.  The colors on this tree will be red, clear and blue.  It will also have 12- 50 bulb, red spheres and 36 strobe lights.  I got the plans from here.  The top of the tree will have three 3' stars each with 100 lights.  I have pictures on the how to page on the building of the tree.

             

  • 10-Mini Trees.  Each tree will have 3 colors, red, blue, and clear.  Each color has 250 lights.  A Total of 2500 lights for the mini trees.  These trees are made from Tomato Cages turned on their tops then some modifications are done and you have a mini Christmas Tree.  Look at the "how to" page to see how these are made.

          

  • 8-16 channel Light-O-Rama controllers.  These are computer controlled circuts which are directly connected by data cable to a computer.  Each controller has two separate banks handling 20 amps per side for a total of 40 amps.  These are controlled by a computer which was programed to turn on, off, fade, twinkle or shimmer by me.  It takes about 4 hours to program 1 minute of music display. 

        

  • There are also 10 wire frame candy canes, 3 wire frame dogs, 3 wire frame boxes, 1 nativity star, 2 wire frame angles, 1 wire frame baby Jesus, a wire frame sign "Jesus Is The Reason For The Season", and a 8' cross I made.

Total on lights is 29,351.  Total amps drawn 61.37.  Total wattage in lights 7364.75.

I am currently palying 10 of the original songs.  I will be adding one more in the next day or so.  When I do I will be taking another one out.  The reason for this is the traffic.  I love that you are enjoying the show, but the traffic is getting rough.  So, I took out what I felt was my 2 weaker songs and I am adding a better third.
